Multidimensional database for complex queries

MIK-OLAP is an optimised multidimensional database, employing sophisticated storage techniques and powerful retrieval procedures. Developed specifically with business performance management in mind, the MIK-OLAP database is ideally suited to large amounts of data and frequently changing structures. The facility to implement the custom user model quickly and simply was a key focal point during development.

Highly flexible front-ends form the interface with the user, for which MIK has specifically developed the MIK-OLAP Builder, the object-oriented development tool for the database. Using the built-in formula editor, complex calculations can be included really easily in the data model via the graphical user interface.

Groups and users are created and permissions defined via the user administration tool. MIK-OLAP is multiprocessor-compatible so that simultaneous queries from more than one user can be handled in parallel. Furthermore, the database is ideally suited to mobile use via the web or stand-alone notebooks thanks to its low memory requirement.
