MIK-BIS Presentation
Customised interactive user interfaces for analysis and management
Complex management user interfaces in one's own corporate design: analysis functions and navigation and control elements can be combined to create custom user interfaces with MIK-BIS Presentation. Users can access documents such as charts, tables, speedos or maps from other MIK-BIS modules, and choose from a wide range of navigation and selection objects for ultimate interactivity.
Presentation user interfaces can be accessed either via the viewer in MIK-BIS or via a web browser. Every user, regardless of whether accessing via MIK-BIS or the web, can navigate around the user interface and extract the required information. With either option, the user has access to up-to-the minute data thanks to the continuous connection to the database. The front-end web connection has the particular advantage of accessing data wherever you are, whenever you want it. In addition to the link to the MIK-OLAP database, there is also an interface to relational databases.
The single- or multi-page Presentation user interface is created in Presentation Designer. Using the mouse, objects such as selection menus or checkboxes can easily be inserted in the user interface, filled with structures from the database or assigned an action i.e. a response to user input. All standard functions can also be implemented via the graphical user interface. Non-standard functions can be integrated using custom-written VB .NET scripts.
A full range of functions for modifying the layout make it easy to hallmark a MIK-BIS Presentation with the company's existing corporate design.
